Summertime Essential Oil Guide, by Karla Gomez

July 24, 2017

Summertime! We love it! Soaking in the rays, and playing outdoors is when we come alive.  At the same time, the heat can get some of us in a bind. Some of us can experience mental and physical ailments like digestive issues, headaches, skin rashes, impatience, or just being plain domineering. Luckily, our friends at Lunaveda have put together a couple of really easy essential oil tips for you to stay cool this summer

1. Cooling Body and Face Mist

Make yourself a cooling body and face mist by using doTERRA’s  peppermint, lavender and melaleuca combined with aloe vera gel and purified water. Put the concoction in a spritzer bottle and spray away your heat. So cooling and naturally soothing to the skin!

2. After-Sun Soother

Too much sun?: Lavender, roman chamomile and aloe can be used in a spray bottle and applied to sunburns.

3. Bug Spray

Eucalyptus, rosemary, tea tree and lemongrass mixed with apple cider vinegar and witch hazel is an awesome combo for a effective bug spray! Feel free to use often over your clothes and on key areas like ankles, hands and neck. It is also great (and safe!) for your pets
